Pair of cottages. Late C16-mid C17. Square-panelled timber-
framing with painted brick infill; some painted rubble and dressed
stone, possibly replacing or cladding timber framing. Thatched
roof with decorative ridge thatching; brick stacks. Single storey
with attic. Rectangular plan. Flat-roofed C20 extension to rear
not of special interest. Entrance front with exposed timber
framing towards the left gable end: two C19 three-light canted
oriel windows; two plank doors. with single glazed panes, between
the windows. Left gable end, partly rebuilt in painted brick and
is lit by a C20 two-light casement. Axial stack and projecting
stack at the left gable end. Hipped right gable end. Interior not
inspected.
