The Old Watch Tower and attached walls, in grounds of The Grange

Former harbourmaster's office, with attached walls. Probably earlier C18.
Brick in irregular stretcher bond except for external faces of walls and lower
courses of external walls of office, which are large squared stone; walls have
flat slab coping. Welsh slate roof. Office is a 2-storey square building.
Front shows 2 round arches, with C20 glazing, below a renewed 16-pane sash
window with a soldier lintel; pyramidal roof with restored griffin weathervane.
Left return shows similar window. Right return shows restored stone stair to
renewed door under soldier lintel. Attached wall to south 1.5 metres high
with gabled coping. Longer attached wall to east 5 metres high with flat
coping and slightly-higher centre section.
