Very small cottage, used as store. Probably C17. Rubble stone,
stone slate roof, stone end stack (restored) to left. Small square
with later outshut at rear, one room with former attic, stair now
blocked off. Paired 6-pane wooden casement with timber lintel to
left, recessed half-glazed C20 door with timber lintel to right.
Interior has stone flag floor, large beam and fireplace with
cambered timber bressumer (no longer in use). Said to be the
cottage inhabited by Betty, reputed to be a witch and to be buried
at the nearby crossroads named Betty's Grave.
