SU 01 SE BOVERIDGE

7/12 Boveridge Farm House

GV II

Farmhouse, early to mid C19, according to RCHM incorporating elements of a
former manor house. Brick with half-hipped slate roofs and brick stacks
behind ridge. Later extension left. Near symmetrical, 2 storeys, 4 bays.
Outer bays are gabled and projecting. Sash windows, 16-pane below and
12-pane above. Gabled C19 porch second bay from left. Shaped barge-boards.

Interior features: according to RCHM various C18 doors and doorcases,
together with C17 beams are reused. (RCHM, Dorset, vol. V, p.14, no.22.)
