Farmhouse with attached farm buildings. Probably late C18 origin with C19
additions. House has rubble stone walls and patent tile roof with coped
gables. Brick stacks at gable ends and at junction of 2 wings. House of
L-shaped plan. 2 storeys. In main range, ground and first floors each have
3 casements with horizontal glazing bars. Projecting wing at left end has
ledged door with glass panel. Ground and first floors each have one casement
with horizontal glazing bars. One ground floor room has large open fireplace
with moulded timber lintel. Small lean-to extension on left of the wing.
Attached to house on right a U-shaped range of farm buildings, having rubble
stone walls and slate roofs, with deep eaves, and bargeboards. Single-storey.
Range adjoining house with open front, on timber posts. Front range has stable
doors and shuttered windows.
