Detached house, dated and initialled 'W 1800 C' on sundial between
fourth floor windows of garden front. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, stone slate roof, ashlar stacks. Rectangular plan with
later single bay extension at left gable end. Symmetrical, 3-
storey entrance front to main body. Two 2-light stone-mullioned
casements to ground floor (one blocked). Two 2-light stone-
mullioned casements to first floor (one blocked). Both blocked
windows painted to imitate windows with glazing bars. Three blind
(or possibly blocked) windows to third floor. Central fielded 6-
panel front door within moulded surround with dropped keystone
within open-sided porch with hipped roof. Single storey extension
right with plank door. Symmetrical 4-storey garden front lit by 3-
light stone-mullioned steel casements mostly with horizontal
glazing bars. Tall 2-light stone-mullioned stair light with 2
transoms. Square scratch sundial between fourth floor windows with
metal gnomon and Roman numerals. Central front door formerly with
6 flush panels (upper 2 panels now glazed) within C20 weather-
boarded and pebble-dashed gabled porch. Single storey extension
left with C20 top opening casement. Interior not inspected.
