Detached cottage, at right angles to road. Early C18, flint brick and cob
walls, painted. 2 brick sleeper buttresses. Thatch roof with left hip and
right gable. Rebuilt brick stacks on ridge left of centre, and at right
gable. 1½ storeys. 4 windows, formerly irregular. 2-light wood casements
with glazing bars, rebuilt C20 to original design. Plank door right of
centre, with weatherboard, C19. Interior: much altered C20, central hall
removed. Open fireplace in right end with rebuilt jambs and chamfered
lintel. Bread oven.
