Former coaching inn. Late C18 or early C19 with mid-C19 extensions to right and
left. 2 storeys, coursed and squared rubble, Cotswold stone roof with 3 ashlar
ridge chimneys and coped verges. 3:1 windows, the right hand one in a 2½
storey gabled break, sashes with vertical glazing bars in raised flat surrounds.
Doorway roughly central within segmental entry and with bracketed label-hood.
6 panel doors, top two panels cut away and glazed. Converted coach-house and
stable wing to left breaks slightly forward and is lower with roof hipped to left;
elliptical-headed entry with double doors to right, modern doorway and window to
left of this; half dormered loft door roughly central; short lower extension to
left.
