Former lodge to Wyckhill House. Early C19 in style of S. P.
Cockerell with C19; C20 extensions not of special interest.
Coursed squared and dressed limestone, slate roof, ashlar stack.
'T' shaped main body with C19 extension extending back rear left,
Single storey formerly symmetrical facade to main body with gable
end projecting forwards at centre, flanked by covered, open-sided
porches with flattened ogee arches and quatrefoil shaped columns at
corners. Canted 3-light window from gable-end with pointed arched
stone-mullioned windows with coloured glass in spandrels, stone
roof curving up to engaged pineapple finial, heraldic shield
bearing eagle and serpent over. Similar bay window at left gable
end. Studded plank door in 'Tudor'-arched surround in right wall
of projecting gable end. Decorative bargeboard with pierced
decoration. Central triple stack set diagonally with incised
decoration and moulded capping. Interior not inspected.
