Former detached house now in two occupations. C16 with alterations
to fenestration at front C17. Coursed squared and dressed
limestone, thin stone slate roof, C20 limestone stack. Rectangular
plan; C20 extension right not of special interest. 2 storeys,
and attic garret lit by 2-light double-chamfered stone-mullioned
casement with stopped hood in left gable-end. 4-windowed facade
lit by 2 and 3-light double-chamfered, stone-mullioned casements
with stopped hoods. Large 9-pane former shop window left of front
door. Single light with stilted head, carved spandrels and stopped
hood lower left, single light with double-chamfered stone surround
lower right, both windows formerly lighting cellar. Central C19
plank door up 3 steps with decorative hinges and thumb latch,
within 4-centred arched surround with carved spandrels and stopped
hood. Three 2-light stone-mullioned casements with stilted heads,
carved spandrels and stopped hoods at rear. Right gable-end stack,
flat gable-end coping with roll-cross saddle on left gable-end.
Two C20 skylights. Interior not inspected.
