Cottage, now part of No.3 Shute End (listed separately 17/8). Late C16,
altered C18, extended C20. Timber framed, part stucco, part painted render.
Old tile gabled roof. Rectangular plan of 2 framed bays and former cross
passage; timber frame visible at rear. One and a half storeys. Tall ridge
chimney on right, with clay pots. Stuccoed front with gablet on left with
sash window. Early C20 shop front on ground floor, with glazed entrance
door on left and small 2-light casement adjoining on right.
