Loft and Workshop

Barn and outbuildings. Late C18th/early C19th. Rubble; Cotswold stone slate
roof with coped raised verges and saddle stones. Central gable, projecting
porch with square headed carriage entry. Modern lean-to to left and C19th
lean-to cartshed with loft over to right. Slit windows. Probably 7 bays; strut and
tie-beam roof. At rear is a workshop and stables: Rubble; Cotswold stone slate roof;
one storey; 3 bays, centre one recessed with tail gable, low gables over outer
bays. A good and visually prominent example of a traditional Cotswold barn.
