Garden Wall, gate piers, gates and spring head at Wiseton Hall

Garden wall, late C18, brick with ashlar dressings and with
intermediate buttresses on outer side. Pair of square brick
gatepiers with rendered plinths, recessed rectangular panels and
moulded ashlar capitals, supported by a pair of very large brick
and ashlar scrolled brackets. Pair of elaborate C19 wrought iron
gates with decorative overthrow. Inside, to left, a spring head,
C18, brick with ashlar dressings. Central grotesque mask in
moulded surround, flanked by square brick piers carrying moulded
single entablature and arched broken pediment. The whole flanked
by single square brick piers with ashlar capitals.
