House, now flats. Late C17, extended mid and late C18, early C19 and C20.
Diaper and chequer brickwork and plain brick, old plain tile roofs. Late
C17 house end on to road with C18 bays added to far end. Road end rebuilt
and given projecting wings to one side and parallel service range to other,
late C18/early C19, then in early C20 projecting wing added to far end
with parallel range behind. Garden front 2 storey, 3 bay centre and 2 bay
cross-wings at each end. Road end centre bay C17 diaper brick on ground
floor and mid-Cl8 chequer brick above. French windows on ground floor and
2-light casements above, in other late C18 centre bays hip-roofed bay on
ground floor and 2 wide 8-pane sashes above. Gabled cross-wings have
tall 12-pane sashes except for 2 French windows on road and wing. 2
2-light dormers in centre and small ridge stack in centre, large ridge
stack at end of centre range and stacks on outer walls of cross-wings.
