A long and low 1½-storeyed building links to the boundary wall on each side, and has a
central carriageway entrance. On the outer (north) face, the opening is marked by
turrets with small conical roofs. Tile roofing, half-hipped at each end, dormer above
entrance has a clock face, tall hay-loft door at the east end. The walling continues
the roughcast finish, with an oval window with the voussoirs to the east, on the west
a high level dormer. A 4-light casement under the eaves and an arched doorway (with
exaggerated tile voussoirs, opening onto a raised entrance, approached by a flight of
steps. On the inside (south-) elevation there are more windows, with complex asymmetry
including dormers, a 2-storeyed bay at the west side, and a doorway linked to
casements near the gate. Within the entrance the tall boarded gates move back into
prepared recesses, the eaves are supported on beams, arch-braced.
