Farmhouse, C16 to C17 with later alterations. Timber-frame and red brick with
C19 red brick South addition. Original house T-plan with plain tile gable
ended roof, smaller gable in angle between North end cross-wing and main range.
Massive brick pair of outside chimney stacks in angle of subsidiary gable and
main range. Stacks connected at heads. 2 storeys. North cross-wing refaced
in brick at East end in C19. Exposed square framing on North side. 1 dormer.
Main range, projecting gable weatherboarded with iron triple casements to each
floor. One 4-light casement to ground floor adjoining. West side rendered
with 1 gabled half-dormer and casement pair to first floor, 1 triple casement
below. Iron frames. C19 South extension: 2-storey, 2-window range with slate
roof. Red brick, timber-framing in North gable. Cambered head openings.
Interior: C17 winding stair, carved cap to newel. Wind-bracing and queen post
tie beam and collar trusses to cross-wing.
