Two dwellings, now a farmhouse, and attached outbuildings. C18 with C19
alterations. Coursed watershot rubble, stone slate roof. Long range
with central house, formerly divided into 2, and outbuildings at both
ends, all under 1 roof. 2 storeys, rear outshut added to part. House
has total of 3 first floor windows, plus 1 modern insertion. Small,
square 4-pane sashes with stone sills and lintels. 2 simple projecting
porches. Quoins, 2 ridge stacks. Farm buildings to left not of
particular interest. Farm buildings to right formerly used as cottage
and byre, now as coal-house and byre with hay-loft above, has 2 windows
and 2 doors on ground floor with pitching door on first floor. Outshut
to byre contains end entry cart-shed with rounded arch of dressed
sandstone voussoirs. House of c1898 attached to rear of farmhouse, not
of particular interest.
