GV II*
Former mill and house, now a single residence. Late C18, early and mid C19, with
restoration of 1969. Walls of painted brickwork, in English bond, cambered ground-
floor openings. Tile roof, flat-roofed dormers: some hipped roofing at the rear.
One block, with lower rear extensions; wide west front with house to the north side,
two storeys and attic four windows. Early C19 cast-iron casements, at the north
side one triple sash above a coupled sash. The centre of the house part has a
solid porch: the centre of the mill part has a tall gabled hoist with tiled sides
and boarded front (now with windows) above wide doorways at 1st and ground floors.
There are irregular rear extensions of similar materials, with a granary south of
the central waterway: at the north the house extension has a two storeyed north
wing. Inside, the mill wheel (of 1875) is in situ, and there are other machinery
items.
