and adjoining granary

Farmhouse and adjoining granary. Circa 1760 with mid-C19 alterations. Brick
with ashlar dressings and blue brick detailing; two-span slate and plain tiled
roofs with brick stacks. Three storeys and cellar; three-course band at first
floor level to rear (second course of blue brick headers) and cogged eaves
level course at east gable end of rear range. Three bays; windows have ashlar
sills and rusticated wedge lintels. 12-pane sashes on the ground and first
floors and six-pane sashes on the second floor. Central entrance has a flat
canopy on moulded timber brackets and a six-panelled door (four panels are
glazed) with a transom light which has three glazing bars. Granary situated
at left end. Brick and plain tiled roof which has a parapet and kneelers at
its gable end. Two levels. Two bays. South elevation has two ground floor
four-pane sashes with cambered heads, two upper level windows and a central
entrance with a cambered head and ledged and battened door. There is an
external staircase to a loft door in the north elevation.
