House. Probably C17 and C18, with later alterations. Sandstone rubble
and timber-frame, partly roughcast. Tiled roofs and external sandstone
rubble stack with detached brick shaft. L-plan with three-bay arms to
south and east. One and two storeys and attics. South elevation has
unfenestrated two-storey wing to left with square panels above late C20
sandstone first storey. Right part has two late C20 casements each of three
lights. Framed lean-to at junction of two wings contains entry to east arm.
East gable has exposed curved members, possibly the feet of crucks. Interior
has ceiling beams with lambs' tongue and pyramidal chamfer stops. Roof of
west arm has wind-braces and trusses with central posts from ties to collars.
