Water mill, now dis-used. C18, incorporating C17 remnants with some mid-C19
alterations. Coursed rubble and brick with tile roof, incorporating some
timber-framing. L-plan, limbs extending to east and south, leat running from
west to east under east limb. Main block aligned north/south is of three
storeys in height, but mostly obscured by ivy. Interior has a surviving under-
shot wheel with metal buckets, latterly adapted to drive a generator. Evidence
for three pairs of stones on first floor consists of three framed holes in floor.
A little of the original wooden fittings survive, such as chutes and two boulting
sieves. Exposed chamfered ceiling beams.
