Farmhouse. Early C17, with some early C19 and early C20 alterations.
Timber-frame with rendered infill on a coursed rubble plinth with a
graduated stone tile roof. L-plan, cross-wing extending to north, other
range to west. Main stack axial in subsidiary range of rubble with brick
shaft. South front has the single two-storey cross-wing to right, jettied
to upper floor with gable-lit attic. Range to left of two storeys, with
a 2-light casement in rendered first floor. Ground floor has a 3-light
casement with entrance to left which has a C17 boarded door. Framing:
two square panels high to ground floor, one square panel high above
jetty with straight angle braces. Gable truss has two struts to collar
and V-struts to apex. Corner posts have pendant bosses to jetty. Interior:
exposed beams chamfered and stopped.
