West Lea Cottage

Wesleyan Chapel, then Sunday School, now house. Dated 1826. Rubble, stone
slate roof. 2 storeys, 2 bays. Quoins. Central 6-panel door in ashlar
surround with splayed bases. Above, a plaque inscribed "WESLEYAN METHODIST
CHAPEL ERECTED AD 1826". C20 4-pane casement windows under cement lintels.
Stack at left end. Became a Sunday School when new Methodist Chapel built a
little to east in 1890. Included for group value.
