Parish church. C12, late C14 and C15. Rendered sandstone ashlar,
timber-framed tower with lath and plaster infill, tile roof. West tower, nave and
chancel in one, north porch.
Tower: C15 in three stages, west wall: window
at each level, louvred opening to belfry in gable, in the wall the first and
second stages have curved tension braces, gable has two queen struts to collar;
north and south walls close-studded. Nave and chancel: four bays, walls C12;
north wall: west bay has C15 timber-framed porch, door has semicircular head
with roll moulding, windows of two trefoil-headed lights under square heads;
south wall similar with corresponding entrance; east window: three lights with
Y-tracery under 2-centred head. INTERIOR: division between nave and chancel
marked by plastered truss; tower arch has a segmental head, upper part of jambs
moulded, evidently a former window. Fittings: early C17 altar rails, sanctuary
floored with late C15 Malvern School tiles; grained late C18 box pews; font:
moulded octagonal bowl of C14.
