GV II

House. C17, refronted early C18 with some mid-C20 repairs. Timber-frame
clad in painted brick under a tile roof. Main stack to rear (east) wall.
West front of two storeys with band to first floor. Three windows, two
3-light casements flanking a blind window. The ground floor windows have
segmental heads. The central entrance has a flat C20 canopy and a moulded
wooden architrave. The C20 panelled door is recessed with panelled reveals.
Framing visible in left-hand gable truss has three struts to collar and V-
struts in the apex. (RCHM, 3, p 202, no 47).
