with mile-post

GV II


House with railings and attached mile-post. Early C19. Ashlar, graduated
stone slate roof. 2 storeys, 3 bays. Quoins raised. Central gabled porch
with quoins, C20 door in plain stone surround, convex frieze, cornice. All
windows sashes with glazing bars in plain stone surrounds. Modillions.
Stone coping to right with end stack, to left a ridge stack. To front:
plinth-height stone wall with railings above. To right attached to wall an
iron mile-post.
