Cottage, C19. Slobbered rubble, stone slate roof. 2 storeys 2 bays. Left-hand
entrance has wooden surround and hood. Large right-hand window with 25 pane fixed
light. 2 upper floor windows with 16 pane sashes. Inside at rear is early C18
gable entrance to 4 Victoria Street (qv) now blocked with moulded surround. Massive
decorated lintel is inscribed 17

but right-hand part is hidden by rear wall of cottage. Right-hand jamb is exposed
in gable end of No. 4 (qv). Included on account of gable entrance.
