House. Late C18 with later additions and alterations including C20
extension to rear. Pinkish-brown with red gauged brick dressings and Welsh
slate roof. Central staircase plan. 3 storeys, 5 bays. Central entrance
contains a 6-fielded-panel door under fanlight with radial glazing bars in
doorcase with attached columns and open dentilled pediment. 12 and 16-pane
sashes throughout to ground and first floors under flat arches of red gauged
brick, all with ashlar sills. 4-course 1st and 2nd floor bands. C18
rainwater head and remains of fall pipe. Dentil cornice. Ridge stacks have
cogged bands. Interior has 2 open well staircases with turned balusters.
Neo-classical pine fireplaces to hall, dining room and first floor study.
