House, C17 and C18, possibly on earlier core, roughcast rubble
stone with stone tiled roofs. 2-storey and attic. Complex plan,
originally L-plan with barn attached to east. North front altered
early C18 and early C19. West end and ridge stacks, half-hipped
east gable. 3-window range. Channelled pilaster strip to right,
raised floor band. Right side has pair of C18 12-pane sashes in
bead-moulded surrounds to each floor, centre has tripartite window
to each floor, apparently early C19, ground floor window larger and
with triple keystone, right has moulded ashlar doorcase with triple
keystone and 6-panel door with C17 or earlier 2-light hollow-
chamfered-moulded mullion window. In angle to projecting north
wing, one storey, square plan C18 addition fully rusticated with
raised plinth cornice and parapet. One 16-pane sash with triple
keystone to north and west side. Wing running north has channelled
pilaster at north west angle, one plain west side window and large
east wall stack. East of main range, attached barn with coped east
gable and 6-bay collar-truss roof. South side dormer gable, 2
doors, buttress and window. South side of main range has C19 single
light and 2-light window over door on axis with front door, C20
door and window. To left a tall wing runs south with large south
end outside stack, attic casement and paired 12-pane sashes in
bead-moulded surrounds to main floors. East return has upper
casement and Cl9 sash, ground floor pair of 12-pane sashes in bead-
moulded surrounds, door with overlight and 16-pane sash.
