Simpson. Plaster with stone dressings, stone, brick with
stone dressings, timber-framing; stone slate roof.
Crescents to Greendale Road and Primrose Hill, with short
return to Brook Street. 2 storeys, 19 bays to Greendale
Road and 6 bays to Primrose Hill with 3-bay canted ends.
Greendale Road facade plaster with stone dressings with 3
bays at each end of stone, projecting, with drip mould over
ground floor, 2 inner bays are gabled. Windows have double-
chamfered-mullioned windows, of 2 and 3 leaded lights, some
with elliptical heads. 1st floor has 6 bays with gablets.
Entrances have decorated lintels, some with flat canopies, 2
with lean-to porches; plank doors. 6 cross-axial stacks.
Primrose Hill facade of brick with stone dressings, plaster
band and coping. Ground floor has canopy, 2 bays have
weatherboarded gablets. Windows have small-paned
casements. Ground floor has end 3-light windows and canted
and rectangular bay windows to centre. 1st floor has 3-
light windows, 2 to centre are of 4-lights. Entrances have
plank doors with small-paned lights. Timber-framed canted
ends with central projecting gabled bay with jettied 1st
floor and gable. Windows of 2 and 3 lights with leaded
glazing. Canted bays have canted recesses. Brook Street
facade similar to that to Primrose Hill, 4 bays in with one
storey, 3 bay laundry to right. 15 brick stacks. Rear
brick, roughcast 1st floor, small-paned casements.
