Farmhouse. Mid C17, refenestrated 1963. Square-panelled timber-
framing, half-hipped tiled roof, axial brick stack and to left
gable. Baffle entry plan, 4 bays. 2-storey, 5-window. C20 door
in gabled porch to right of centre, C20 metal casements to left and
right and five to first floor. Rear refaced in English bond brick,
C20 metal casements. Brick stacks are diagonally-set on steeply-
pitched roof.
Interior has deeply-chamfered beams to unusually high ceilings,
exposed chamfered joists with step and runout stops, blocked open
fireplaces. Original roof has two tiers of butt purlins and
straight windbracing. Renovated since 1960 by Longford Estate.
