Galsworthy House

II

Formerly known as Parkfield. Mid C19. 2 storey house. 5 bays wide. Stuccoed.
Hipped slate roof. Ground floor has a central half-round porch with round-arched
doorway and bracketed dentil cornice surmounted by decorative cast iron railings.
To either side of the porch are two round-arched sash windows with bolection-moulded
archivolts and foliated capitals. The 1st floor has paired round-arched sash
windows set beneath round-arched dormer hoods supported on scrolled brackets. Cast
iron guards to upper windows. A curiosity.
