The Hotel consists of two adjoining C18 red brick buildings. Left hand
building (Annex) has 2 storey plus attic, 6 window facade. Sashes in brick
reveals with stone key blocks. Doorcase with console brackets, semi-circular
fanlight and modern glazed door. Radiating glazing bars to fanlight, panelled
reveal, Doric pilasters, open pediment. Stone band at first floor sill
level. Parapet now painted cream. 3 modern dormers in machine tile roof.
All the listed buildings on the north side, from Nos 17 to 37,
form a group.
