Front bends round corner from Silver Street into White Hill. Probably
late C18/early C19. 3 storeys. Mostly ashlar, some rubble. Pantiled
roof. Plain eaves cornice. 4 windows on upper floor. Sashes, glazing
bars missing. 2 windows on first-floor grouped in pairs under a long
wooden lintel, and with a continuous sill. 2 modern windows and blocked
doorway under a wooden lintel on ground-floor. Doorway to No 4 is up
the hill. 4-panel door up two steps. Included only for group value.
All the listed buildings in Whitehead's Lane together with Nos 15 to 17
(consec) Silver Street and Nos 1 to 4 (consec) and Nos 7 and 8 White Hill
form a group.
