12/190 The Old Vicarage
II
House, late C18 - early C19. Blue vitrified brick, extended to
left in red brick, early - mid C19. Slate roof. Two-storey,
original building 2 x 3 bays with central door, 6-panelled with
fanlight within panelled reveals, and segmental headed Tuscan
portico. Sixteen-pane sashes with gauged red brick lintels. Side
elevation with central door, possibly original position of
entrance. Building extended left by 2 bays terminating in bow
window, originally single storey, raised to 2-storey in mid C20.
Sixteen-pane sashes with stone wedge lintels. To left, 4-bay rear
wing, part late C19 and early C20 and block in re-entrant angle.
Interior not seen.
