Farmhouse. Main range probably late C18j altered and wings added c.1835.
Rendered brick with rendered rusticated alternating quoins, and painted moulded
wood cornices. Slate roofs; rendered stacks. Main range has gabled roof;
external stack to right and former end stack to left. Wing has hipped roof;
ridge and lateral stacks. T-plan with main range to right and wings to left and
rear. 2 storeys; 3-window main range; one-window wing. Symmetrical main range
has part-fielded 6-panelled door. Painted moulded wood Roman Doric porch of
pilasters and columns has frieze of triglyphs and roundels. Sashes throughout
have painted rusticated rendered flat arches with keyblocks. Left return side of
brick has 6-panelled door in painted wood doorcase with pilaster strips. Rear
has moulded round-arched staircase window, late C19 canted bays have rendered
mullioned and transomed windows. Interior noted as having staircase with stick
balusters. Panelled shutters.
