Farmhouse with added cottage, now single dwelling. Late C17-early C18. Red and
grey-sandstone rubble with some patching in narrow brick; pantiled roofs with
rendered stone and brick chimney stacks. Two storeys, 2 bays with lower 2-storey,
2-bay cottage at left. Squared alternating quoins at ends and junction. Partly-
glazed 6-panel door in right bay of cottage. Altered window openings of 2 and 3
lights with replaced side-hung casements. Steeply-pitched roof with raised verges.
Rebuilt brick left end stack; rendered stack above junction; stepped external
chimney on right return. Blocked, round-arched loading door on left return of
cottage. Added single-storey outshuts of 3 builds on rear. Interior: chamfered
ceiling beams of heavy scantling in ground-floor rooms of older part.
