Inn. 1765, possibly incorporating work from 1655. Brick with
stone quoins and dressings. Two storeys, cellars and attic. Seven
window bays but 4 on ground floor with door in 3rd. Ground floor
raised up 6 steps over cellar with slit vents. Blue vitrified
bricks with red brickwork around windows. Ground floor windows
paired 12-pane sashes, and those on upper floor with segmental
headed architraves and keystones. Moulded stone string and eaves.
Right gable end has a blind arch. Extended in C18 with a single
storey room on right with gable canted bay, and further extended to
rear in C19 as wing of single storey and attic. C19-early C20
billiard room on right.
