House, former manse and school room. C17 and later. Timber framed and
plastered. Of-2 storeys with attics and of 'L' plan form. The 2 storeyed north
block has a half-hipped pegtile roof and ridge line stack at its east end.
Windows are double hung sashes with a single central vertical glazing bar, some
having label hood moulds. On the west face is a canted pegtile roofed bay
window of double hung sash window. The lower, rear, school block has a pegtile
roof hipped at the south end with a small stack. Windows here are C19 and C20
casements. Internally some early C19 detail including lattice fretted door
heads and original C17 doors.
