Farmhouse. c.1600 or earlier. Timber framed and plastered with gabled pegtile
roofs. Basically, of 'T' plan form, with a crosswing at the southeast end and a
similarly sized 'display' gable balancing the south front. Very large brick
stack on the south east flank with asymmetrical off-sets, some with tile
cladding and lean-to in corner. Lean-to extensions to the rear. Windows are
C20 casements with small panes and the south entrance door has a C19 surround
with flat hood on shaped brackets. A further tall stack rises against the north
west gable. Internally, the substantial frame is partly exposed.
