II
Field barn and adjoining cattle shed; early and mid C19; flat,
unsquared sandstone rubble, no quoins to barn, pecked ashlar quoins
to cattle shed: slate roof, part corrugated iron to shed. 3-bay
barn, with attached 3-bay shed for cattle, at right angles. Yard
face central double doors rising to wallplate, single slit air vent
on each side, door set up ramp from yard. On right low down a
small doorway, stonework to one side partly collapsed. Inside
right-hand bay set some 600mm below rest of barn, originally with
750mm wall between it and threshing floor. Angle-strut pine
trusses: blocked pitch-hole in left gable. Cattle shed three
square timber posts forming front, with two tie-beam trusses
inside: hipped-roof at end away from barn. Two timber partitions
