Chest tomb. Late C17. Sandstone. Flat top to moulded edge, lyre ends, deep
sunk panels with palmette or bundled reed embellishment north and south; in
the centre of the east end an embellished sunk circular panel with a 6-pointed
star; base sunk at time of survey, November 1983. Inscriptions not fully legible,
but referto HENERY .... 1694, with lines as follows on south side: "Swet frendes
morne no more I am not/ lost but gon before for Jesus Christ/ doth call to
rest prepare to dy for dy/ thou must'.
Monument lies centrally to a group of 3 running east-west in close alignment.
