House, now flats. c1760. Remodelled 1974. Render with
limestone dressings and slate mansard roof. Double-depth plan.
Mid Georgian style. 3 storeys, attic and basement; 3-window
range. A symmetrical front has rusticated pilaster strips, to
a cornice returning at the ends. A good doorway has Tuscan
columns with vermiculated Gibbs blocks, entablature blocks
with triglyphs and an open modillion pediment, and draped
medallion to the tympanum, rectangular overlight with metal
glazing bars, and half-glazed 6-panel door. Full-height outer
canted bays with cornice and parapet, has 3-light 6/6-pane
sashes, 3/6-panes on the third floor, 6/6-pane sashes to the
centre, and 3 dormers. The basement bridge to the entrance has
been removed. INTERIOR not inspected.
