Town house. Probably late C17, remodelled and extended C18.
Render on rubble front; steep dry slate roof with projecting
front eaves, rendered outbuilt stack on left, stone rear gable
stack. Fairly deep plan including rear wing. 2 storeys;
2-window range. C20 horned sashes with glazing bars including
oriel window to 1st-floor left; ope on right. Rear wing is 3
storeys with deep jetty to upper storeys. Former C18 window
with thick glazing bars to ground floor now replaced with C20
sashes. INTERIOR: C18 dog-leg open-string staircase with
turned balusters and ramped handrail; parts of original roof
structure visible; When inspected c1980 retained some C17
moulded plasterwork, visible in front attic.
