2 houses in one build. Early C19. Red brick with slate roof. 2
storeys and attic storey. 6 bays, the centre 2 bays broken
forward. Brick string courses separate storeys. First and
smaller attic storeys have sashes with glazing bars and gauged
skewback arches. Ground floor confused by former use of No.10
as a public house. No.8 to north commands only 2 bays of the
6-bay whole. Panelled door to right under overlight and within
timber doorcase. Sash window as before to its left. The
similar door to No.10 is without doorcase and is in centre of
elevation with a sash to its left, separating the two
entrances. A single-storey bay is inserted between the
glazed-in former arched carriage entrance to the right of the
elevation and No.10's door. Gabled roof with a central
hexagonal tile-hung glazed look-out cupola. Internal gable end
stacks. INTERIOR of No.10 with an open-string staircase: stick
balusters, ramped handrail.
