House, possibly originally with shop. C13, ground floor
interior almost all C20. Rendered and colourwashed
rubblestone. Pantiled roof. Earliest survival of rare parallel
hall plan in Lynn. 2 storeys. C20 door and shopfront to ground
floor. Four C20 timber casements to first floor. Gabled roof,
slightly higher to north half. Internal gable-end stack to
north. Rear with C20 single-storey pantiled outshut with a
high gabled dormer. Three C20 roof lights in main roof. To
right at ground floor is a C13 stone doorway, blocked with
brick: double-chamfered pointed arch with hood mould on block
imposts. Condition of jambs too fragmentary to analyse.
INTERIOR. Not inspected but known to contain (in 1971) a
scissor-braced roof to north part (with the higher roof line)
and a crown post roof to southern part.
