Terraced house. Mid C18 (Dated 1766 on nos 39-41 Camden
Passage (q.v.)). Purplish and yellow brick set in Flemish
bond; roof obscured by parapet. Three storeys, two windows.
Ground floor rendered with C20 replacement entrance and
windows. First-floor windows flat-arched with heads of red
gauged brick, second- floor windows cambered. Parapet.
Modelled plaque and tablet to first floor commemorating
Alexander Cruden (1699-1770), author of Cruden's Concordance,
who died here.
