Shop with flats above. 2 builds, probably c. 1745 in origin;
C20 shop front. Flemish bond brick; roof concealed behind
parapet; brick stacks.
Plan: L plan with a rear wing at right angles.
Exterior: 3 storeys. 3-bay front, roofed parallel to the
street. Symmetrical 3-bay front above the shop. Windows retain
some old glass: 12-pane early C19 hornless sashes to the first
floor with rubbed brick flat arches; 3 over 6-pane sashes to
the second floor, similar arches; blind recesses to the
parapet. Band of white paint at first floor level masks former
shop name. C20 plate glass shop front. The rear elevation has
an early C18 first floor 12-pane sash.
Interior: Shop only inspected, modernised. Features of
interest may survive elsewhere in the building.
