Pair of houses. 1866. Front walls of coursed squared knapped flintwork with
yellow brick plinth, quoins, 1st floor band, rubbed flat arches, oval arches to the
doorways: west wall of knapped flint with yellow brick dressings, rear walls of
red brickwork. Slate roof, with cusped decoration to the barge-boards of the
gables. Symmetrical north front elevation, with projecting gabled centre, of two
storeys 2.1.2 windows. Casements. 4-panelled doors, set in the angle on each side
of the centrepiece. The east gable (at an obtuse angle to the main block) facing
High Street is also symmetrical of two storeys two windows, with the same features,
and contains in brickwork the date 1866. Everything, including chimney stacks,
has been carefully detailed.
