Farmhouse. Dated 1726 with C17 origins and C19 and C20 alterations. Slobbered
rubble, stone dressings, stone slate roof. Central staircase plan. 2 storeys,
3 bays. Central entrance in early C18 gabled porch with moulded surround and
lintel with imitation keystone inscribed with date and initials OF; springers
to gable, moulded coping and ball finial to ridge on moulded base. C17 moulded
surround to entrance; 6 panel door, upper 4 glazed. Windows are C19 with plain
surrounds and projecting sills, C20 casements: 2 to ground floor, 3 to upper
floor. Shaped eaves modillions. Gable-end ridge stacks. At rear on left-hand
return of projecting wing is upper floor panel inscribed: IAMES.AR
